Leadership Competency Assessment

Assess Your Leadership Competency Skills

Competency models provide a clear roadmap for performance for all individuals along their career journey. The Women’s Foodservice Forum, in partnership with Batrus Hollweg International, researched and designed a competency model for emerging leaders, emerging executives, executives and c-suite executives in the foodservice industry. The WFF Leadership Competency Model and its web-based companion, The Leadership Competency Assessment, clarify and put into focus truly important behaviors that lead to success across the foodservice industry.

11 Core Leadership Competencies form the foundation of our leadership development programming. Each competency is defined and accompanied by a specific list of desired behaviors.

The Leadership Competency Assessment can be used to help individuals at all levels or sets of experiences understand and develop critical leadership behaviors and skills. Whether used as a self-assessment to trigger reflective insight or to facilitate a conversation with a boss or peer, the WFF competencies can enhance and drive insight and continued career success.

The Leadership Competency Assessment, available on-line and free to WFF members, allow members to understand strengths and identify competency gaps. The WFF recommends to our members that you take The Leadership Competency Assessment annually as a part of your developmental planning process. The competency assessment can also help you determine the WFF programming that can power your development and growth throughout the year.
